Summer collection 2012

Back to the origins and to the excellence. These are the main ideas inspiring the new Spring/Summer 2012 collection.

Excellence for d’Avenza is synonym of attention to the single details, from the cutting to the final ironing, with a clear reference to the ‘60’s, also thanks to the presence of Angelo Giuliani, interpreter of the style of those years who, after a prestigious path in the fashion business over the years, today has come back to follow the style of d’Avenza.

The Versilia area is again the land of inspiration for d’Avenza, with its Apuane mountains, the pinewood forests and the famous sandy beaches which, all together, have always defined the elegant, yet easy, d’Avenza lifestyle.

The color range shows a combination of more pale colors, like whites as marble, tan colors as sandy beaches, and endless ocean blues, along with the strong colors of the Riviera, especially reds and yellows.

The models are all revised, with a clear reference to the style of the ‘60’s, with a strong attention given to the typical shoulder of d’Avenza, with soft and modern solutions, resulting in a natural effect. The new Easy Chic line therefore represents the perfect union of deconstructed forms with refined and fresh handmade solutions, for a real easy chic elegance.

The Casual Line, the newest collection of this season, offers safari jackets and unlined trenches and extrafine fabrics, and, as a clear reference to traditional sartorial garments, the presence of handmade stitchings and leather details.
